Most requests are matched within a few hours during working days. The arborist will then contact you in their own time — usually within one working day. We don't promise same-day responses because we can't always guarantee them, but we aim to be as quick as possible.
Is this service really free?
Yes, completely. There is no charge to you at any point. We are paid by the tree surgeons in our network, not by homeowners. The quote you receive is also free.
Will I be contacted by lots of different companies?
No. We match you with one arborist only. Your details are not shared with multiple businesses simultaneously. This is one of the key differences between our service and many comparison or directory sites.
Are the tree surgeons properly qualified?
Every arborist we refer holds NPTC qualifications — the recognised industry standard for tree surgery in the UK — and carries current public liability insurance. We verify this before anyone joins our network.
What if I need emergency tree work?
Please mention it clearly in your description when you submit the form and we'll prioritise your request. For immediate emergencies where safety is at risk, you may wish to contact your local council or emergency services directly as well.
Do I need planning permission to remove a tree?
It depends. Trees subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or located in a Conservation Area require permission from your local council before they can be removed or significantly altered. The arborist we refer can advise you on this — it's something they deal with regularly.
